There are shops, a supermarket, bars and restaurants within a five minute walk. There is a tourist train that will take you to the central commercial area and to the local market which is up the hill. The city of Alicante, with many large shops and malls, is only a short taxi/bus ride away

Benidorm is approx 1 hours drive north or you can take the train or bus if you do not drive. The lively nightlife and its many attractions which include Terra Mitica, Mundomar, Terra Nature are among a few.

Gran Alacant itself , has a large selection of bars and restaurants catering to all taste and nationalities and several large supermarkets where you can purchase beer and wine for relaxing on the terrace and soaking up the sun.

The Caribassi beach which is a short walk away, has fabulous sand dunes and stretches for miles, with plenty of free parking.

There is a weekly market on Thursday morning just a short train or bus ride from the house, where you can pick up fresh local fruit and vegetables.
